Thad Greer has been a recruiting professional for the last seven years, entering the industry as a sales manager with CareerBuilder.com. He then became the managing partner of Executive Management Search, Inc. a nationwide executive staffing firm he founded in 2003. Thad's role over the last several years has been divided between his role as an executive recruiter, working with his client companies to identify key management talent, and as career coach, providing executive job seekers with both short and long-term career guidance.
Thad spent the first several years of his career with the appliance division of General Electric, starting in finance and eventually moving into a regional sales management role. He left GE to work as a sales director with the Executrain Corporation, who was the largest software training company in the world at that time. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Thad has a BS in Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design from the University of Louisville. Thad is the author of The Executive Rules! A Complete Guide to Landing an Executive Job (YA Publications, 2008), a job search roadmap for today's professional that is a blend of web technology and traditional relationship building.
