Leading Game Industry Recruiter Places Vice President at Turbine,
Senior Executive to Oversee MMO Development for North America

Tuesday, July 17, 2007---Fort Lauderdale, FL---GameRecruiter.com, the leader in international recruitment services for the interactive entertainment industry, is pleased to announce their recent placement of senior executive Craig Alexander as vice president of production for Turbine in Massachusetts.

In his new role as Vice President of Production at Turbine, Alexander will be handling oversight and product development for all of Turbine’s MMO production, focusing on bringing the latest technology and design practices in MMO production to the forefront of the company’s online game initiatives.

An expert in the development of online games, Alexander is formerly vice president of production and general manager for Activision, Electronic Arts and Sierra On-line.  While at Activision, Alexander managed multiple Marvel superhero projects on both current and next generation (Xbox360) console platforms.

Alexander may be best-known amongst his peers for developing and releasing space-based MMORPG Earth & Beyond in 2002.  This ambitious project was a difficult technical, design, and management challenge and considered one of the most stable and bug free MMORPGs ever released.

Alexander began developing games in the early 1990's, and was responsible for managing Sierra On-Line's original software development group.  He moved on to manage a portfolio of externally developed console and PC initiatives for EA Partners, ranging from licensed movie games to new intellectual property.

Howard Taule, COO and co-founder of GameRecruiter.com, states, “Alexander has demonstrated a world-class level of MMO leadership that has become increasingly crucial in the highly competitive arena of online games development.  By staying on top of the evolution of the MMO industry, GameRecruiter was poised to provide the most ideal executive candidate to our client, Turbine.  We feel they have made an excellent choice and that Alexander will bring them unprecedented production success in their MMO objectives.

Alexander was placed at Turbine by Christine Cicchi, senior client manager at GameRecruiter.  With nearly seven years under her belt as a successful recruiting specialist at GamerRecruiter, Christine was able to tap into the firm’s vast resources to identity and develop Alexander as a top-notch candidate choice for Turbine.  Formerly a corporate recruiter for Vivendi Universal, Cicch continues to create high-level success for GameRecruiter and their clientele.
