We are looking for a Technical Director that is an expert in browser-based clients such as Flash and a strong understanding of server side languages, Java, and Actionscript.

You will be responsible for:

  • All game technology and systems. (This role requires working the front lines half the time especially with early prototypes and building engine infrastructure).
  • Create technical designs for all projects, including designing game infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and middleware for game creation.
  • Design and help create a robust and re-usable codebase around Facebook and other social network APIs.
  • Managing a small programming team.

To qualify you have:

  • Minimum 7 years of programming and game development experience with at least 4 years spent in online games.
  • Knowledge of MMO / 3D game engines such as Crytek, Unity, Torque or proprietary engines.
  • Expert in C++, Java, ActionScript3, and server side languages.
  • Experience in tuning performance both on the client and server side.
  • Expert familiarly with the capabilities and limitations of Flash and other browser-based clients.
  • Familiar with Open GL, IOS, Android and Facebook APIs.
  • Database design and programming.
  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline.
