Job: Database Programmer (#3804-MH1602)

We are looking for a Database Programmer to work with a team developing and supporting AAA MMO titles.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing database schema for high-volume databases.
• Writes SQL queries and stored procedures to support the Engineering team.
• Ensuring the stable and reliable connectivity of all database servers while monitoring and creating disaster recovery plans.
• Assisting with the evaluation and purchase of database services and/or products

To Qualify you have:

• Ability to program in an administrative language (Perl, a shell), to port C programs from one platform to another, and to write small C or C# programs.
• High level experience with PostgreSQL database system replication, caching, and scaling, database optimization techniques, and SQL and PL/pgSQL.
• Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
